    Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received a letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (43101174) dated (3/22/1443), regarding the Federation’s receipt of the letter of the Food and Drug General Authority No. (P/8056) and dated (19/3/1443). Referring to the strategic project of the Food and Drug Authority (the application of Internet of things technology to raise compliance with transport and storage requirements) Which aims to measure the temperature and humidity of establishments operating in the activities of transporting and storing food, medicine, devices, and medical products, through an electronic platform, which enables the Food and Drug General Authority and the relevant authorities to control and monitor these activities to raise the quality, safety and safety of transportation and storage operations. The authority reports that a workshop was held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 AD directed to food establishments, where attendance was less than expected and no challenges or obstacles were presented by the attendees, so another workshop will be held to explain the project of implementing the Internet of Things to raise the commitment to transport and storage requirements And the mechanisms of linking to the (Wasl) platform for food facilities. Several axes related to the mechanisms of linking to the (Wasl) platform will be discussed and the challenges facing the facilities will be discussed, as well as answering all inquiries related to the project concerning refrigerated and frozen food factories and warehouses. 


    Accordingly, the Council hopes that those who are ​​interested participate in the workshop on Thursday, November 4, 2021 AD, from 1:00 pm for an hour, and the link to attend will be published on the Authority’s official website.​
